Sterilite is hiring a Toolroom Maintenance Manager in Townsend, MA to oversee the maintenance and repair of plastic injection molds, ensuring high-quality tool performance and minimal downtime.

You will lead preventive maintenance scheduling, coordinate tooling issues with Engineering, train staff, and enforce safety standards in the tool shop. This full-time role offers strong compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in mold-making and maintenance.
• Knowledge of mold design and machining processes.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with tooling and mold maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise all department activities.
• Train staff; plan, assign and direct work.
• Inspect molds; clean, disassemble, polish, and assemble as needed.
• Coordinate fixture construction; polish molds and tooling components.
• Oversee crane/chain maintenance with outside vendors annually.
• Collaborate with Engineering and other managers on mold improvements.
• Coordinate outside work by vendors and purchase hardware/components.
• Ensure safety training and timely accident/incident reporting.
