Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in mold or tool repair, including experience with jigs and fixtures.
• Ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from a limited number of choices.
• Wonderlic Select: Traditional score 50 cognitive, Mechanical reasoning 80, Space relations 50.

Responsibilities

• Trains personnel in proper use of equipment.
• Reads blueprints and uses measuring instruments to build repair parts for molds, jigs, and fixtures.
• Maintains repair supplies such as core pins, ejector pins, die springs, and related materials.
• Modifies molds, jigs, and fixtures to correct problems.
• Inspects changes made by outside mold making vendors to ensure standards and specifications.
• Performs skilled work with close tolerances above the level of a tool cleaner.
• Maintains records of repairs, modifications, and inventory.
• Performs special projects and other tasks as directed.
