Summit Polymers in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a Technician, Tooling to maintain and repair molds, jigs, fixtures and other tooling used in plastic injection molding and assembly.
The role requires hands-on precision, ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools, and a track record of working with tooling in a manufacturing environment. This position reports to the Manager, Manufacturing Engineering and involves training others as needed.

REPORTS TO: Manager, Manufacturing Engineering
This is a responsible tool room position requiring skills to repair molds, jigs, fixtures, and other tooling equipment involved in plastic injection molds and assembly of plastic products.
Minimum of 2 years experience in mold or tool repair, including experience with jigs and fixtures.
Possesses the ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from a limited number of choices.
This position typically does not require any travel.
