Job summary

Ultradent Products Inc. is seeking a Mold Tooling Technician to maintain injection molds and support the production team with reliable tooling performance.

You will perform preventive maintenance, assemble/disassemble molds for changeovers, troubleshoot issues, and document mold tooling activities while upholding safety policies. Qualifications

• Excellent analytical skills and technical problem solving.
• Ability to read electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
• Flexible in approach and able to adapt to workload.
• Methodical problem solving approach.
• Good understanding of operating a Mill, Lathe, Grinder, and Welder.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
• Hot Runner Knowledge of heaters, thermocouples and other components.
• Observe safe rigging and mold handling practices.

Job description

The Mold Tooling Technician is responsible to ensure that injection molds are maintained and perform as expected for the production team. The Mold Tooling Technician is expected to encourage safe practices and enforce safety policies.

General Responsibilities

• Preform preventative maintenance, repairs and modifications on injection molds.
• Assemble and dis-assemble molds for changeover, repairs and spare component analysis.
• Provide technical assistance to technical and production teams as needed.
• Troubleshoot mold tooling issues and implement a plan to solve the problems found.
• Complete mold tooling documentation as needed.
