Qualifications

• Certified mold or tool & die maker certification required.
• 5–10 years’ experience in a plastic manufacturing environment with mold making/tool & die expertise.
• Experience with ISO 9001 requirements is a plus.
• Experience using shop equipment and tooling is expected.
• Coaching or supervisory experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Mold Technicians and Mold Makers to meet daily schedules.
• Ensure molds are maintained and prepared for production using MES/Hydra status updates.
• Lead safety, 5S standards, and quality compliance with ISO procedures.
• Coordinate with Quality Control and Maintenance for issues and repairs.
• Attend daily meetings and participate in hiring/training activities.
• Document work orders, time, and costs using MES and mold status systems.
