Job summary

A leading supplier of custom molded plastics is seeking an Apprentice Tool Maker in Gainesville, Texas. The apprentice will assist experienced tool makers in various operations to make and repair injection molds. Candidates should possess a high school diploma, strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. Qualifications

• Ability to learn how to read blueprints and use inspection tools.
• Willingness to receive hands-on training and instruction.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist Tool Makers with daily tooling workload to meet production demands.
• Learn and perform basic mold maintenance.
• Support preventive maintenance activities.
