Job summary

Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Tool Design Engineer opportunity located in Roseville, CA with additional locations in Oklahoma City, OK and Arlington, TX. The role focuses on designing mold tooling to support composite lamination/fabrication processes and requires expert CATIA V5 skills and SmarTeam PLM experience.

Responsibilities include producing tooling designs, managing design files, and supporting a fast-paced development program. This contract position is restricted to U.S.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CATIA V5, including all design workbenches.
• Experience with the Catia Smarteam PLM system for file management.
• Experience designing mold tooling for composite lamination/fabrication processes; knowledge of composite lamination processes is a plus.
• Aerospace design and tooling experience preferred; automotive or other relevant industry experience may be considered.
• Ability to work effectively on tool design assignments within a fast-paced development environment.

Responsibilities

• Work tool design assignments in support of a fast-paced development program.
• Utilize CATIA V5 across all applicable design workbenches to produce tooling designs.
• Manage design files and documentation through the Catia Smarteam PLM system.
