Chicago Mold Engineering is seeking qualified mold makers to join our team in Illinois. The role focuses on building, repairing, and troubleshooting plastic injection molds, with a requirement of 5+ years in assembly and disassembly of complex molds and a strong CAD knowledge background.

Candidates must be able to set up and operate general shop machinery. We offer full-time positions, top pay, benefits, and overtime opportunities, with on-the-job training available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years work experience in assembly and disassembly of complex injection molds.
• Minimum of 5 years work experience making routine and complex repairs to injection molds.
• Minimum of 5 years work experience spot fitting parting lines.
• Must be able to set up and operate general shop machinery (Prototraks, surface grinders, lathes, etc.).
