Job summary

Scan Pac Manufacturing is seeking a Mold Technician to evaluate and maintain molds and fixtures, and to develop solutions for production mold and tooling issues. The role focuses on ensuring mold integrity and supporting continuous manufacturing efficiency.

You'll perform mold repairs, read engineered drawings, use precision measurement tools, and collaborate with maintenance to minimize downtime. The position offers a 1st shift and weekly pay, with a comprehensive benefits plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills; mold setup, welding, and fabrication experience desired.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineered drawings, GD&T, and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient with calipers, micrometer, and depth micrometer.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong sense of urgency.

The Mold Technician is responsible for the evaluation and maintenance of molds and fixtures, and for developing solutions to production problems relating to molds and tooling.
