The role

As a Mold Setup Technician At IPL You Will

1. Set up and removal of molds, prepare molds for production startup and perform insert change overs for production.
2. Perform preventive mold maintenance as per instruction and assigned intervals.
3. Inspect mold for defects and document part quality issues.
4. Assist with off-line bi-annual preventive mold maintenance and required mold services
5. Assist with any in process troubleshooting and mold repairs.
6. Do general housekeeping around the presses and maintain safe work environment.
7. Maintain cleanliness, safety and functionality of mold components, tools and equipment.
8. Maintain plastic injection molds and equipment is in optimal running condition.
9. Work independent with strong technical knowledge and good communication skills.
10. Responsible for following all internal and OSHA required safety procedures.
11. Read, use and interpret measuring devices, gauges and inspection tools.
12. Position, set and secure mold into molding machine, connect or disconnect mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic connections.
13. Following all Lock Out/Tag Out rules and work instructions.
14. Keep own and adjacent work area clean.
15. Other Related Job Tasks Or Responsibilities As Assigned.
