Job description

Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician at IPL Schoeller, you will support our manufacturing plants by maintaining and repairing equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical interface to Product Development for smooth and efficient transfer of products and processes.
• Perform machine repair, including electrical, circuit boards, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, material delivery systems, compressors, chillers, and work on silos more than 50 feet high.
• Record operational data such as pressure readings, length of stroke, feeds, and speeds for setup and preventative maintenance records.
• Comply with all pertinent OSHA standards.
• Follow and understand acceptable quality control systems associated with parts and tooling.
• Establish and maintain preventive maintenance procedures and records for all manufacturing equipment.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing team for all manufacturing processes and facility support.
• Read parts breakdown and machine electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Minimum Education

• High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Education

• Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Minimum Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in Plastic Injection Molding in a manufacturing environment, with knowledge of large precision molds and large tonnage machines.
