Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Set Up Technician for the 2nd shift to install and remove molds and lines for molding machines, while maintaining equipment condition and meeting production standards.

The role requires ability to lift up to 40 lbs, strong teamwork, and willingness to learn new applications. Certifications in forklift/crane are obtainable; previous manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Willingness to learn and use computer applications.
• Ability to direct a team effectively.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Able to read work orders and labels.
• Forklift and crane certifications are possible or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Know where the 1st aid room, eye wash stations and emergency exits are located.
• Understand the function of the plant (robotic arms, forklift traffic).
• Maintain production and quality standards.
• Follow safety rules, work instructions, and work order processes.
• Perform all duties in a safe manner.
• Report and correct any safety issues or conditions.
• Follow procedures for installing molds into machines and related tasks.
• Cleans and repairs molding nozzles; wire heater bands; install/remove inserts.
• Rigs molds for removal and installation; transports molds using overhead crane and forklift.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality of mold components and tools.
• Share mold setup knowledge across styles and PM requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
