Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Mold Setter to support injection molding operations in our Florida facility.

You will set molds, align machines and assist with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure product quality and compliance with FDA, GMP, ISO 13485 standards. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and collaboration with maintenance and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; relevant technical certificate preferred.
• One-year certificate from college or technical school (machinist, engineering technology).
• 2 years medical device manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance as assigned by supervisor in accordance with the Preventive Maintenance schedule.
• Adhere to plant policies/procedures, GMPs, ISO 13485 regulations and housekeeping procedures.
• Set molds into injection molding machines and perform basic maintenance on molds and machines.
• Troubleshoot equipment and install replacements; diagnose root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Operate production machines including electric, hydraulic and ancillary equipment per procedures.
• Monitor machinery and process goals during shift and adjust to optimize performance.
