Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology is seeking a diligent operator to support molding operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will operate mold presses, perform quality-focused tasks, and maintain accurate production records to ensure strict specifications and efficiencies are met.

No formal education is required, but strong dexterity and the ability to follow instructions are essential. You will work in a collaborative team, shift between equipment as needed, and contribute to continuous

• Great hand dexterity.
• Ability to meet Vishay’s attendance policy (2% absenteeism rate or less annually).
• Ability to use a microscope for 8 hours daily.
• Mobility to move between equipment as processes require monitoring.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks using defined procedures.
• Ability to work in a team and independently while maintaining good relationships with coworkers & supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides daily input into applicable database
• Participation in continuous improvement and 5S
• Operates mold presses to perform molding processes
• Maintain production records on tooling and production performance
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Abilities

• Ability to read and follow work instructions
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and automated manufacturing or robotics equipment
• Inspect parts and complete assemblies to ensure they meet strict specifications, measurements, and tolerance limits.

Education & Experience

• No education required, but preferred
• Great hand dexterity
• Ability to meet Vishay’s attendance policy (2% absenteeism rate or less annually)
• Ability to use a microscope for 8 hours daily
• Mobility to move from one piece of equipment to another as some machinery or processes may require regular monitoring
• Ability to do repetitive tasks that require the use of various defined procedures
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently while maintaining a good working relationship with coworkers & supervisors

Physical & Mental Requirements

• Attention to detail, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to do moderate to heavy lifting to lift equipment, fixtures, and materials used in manufacturing
• Hearing and eye protection required
• Great hand dexterity
• Exposure to high magnetic field may interfere with pacemaker and/ or medical devices
• Ability to contribute to quality objectives
• Provide products and services that exceed customer expectations
• Obeys all work rules and Environmental, Health and Safety regulations as valid for the work tasks assigned
