Key Responsibilities

• Provides daily input into applicable database
• Participation in continuous improvement and 5S
• Operates mold presses to perform molding processes
• Maintain production records on tooling and production performance
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Abilities

• Ability to read and follow work instructions
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and automated manufacturing or robotics equipment
• Inspect parts and complete assemblies to ensure they meet strict specifications, measurements, and tolerance limits.

Education & Experience

• No education required, but preferred
• Great hand dexterity
• Ability to meet Vishay's attendance policy (2% absenteeism rate or less annually)
• Ability to use a microscope for 8 hours daily
• Mobility to move from one piece of equipment to another as some machinery or processes may require regular monitoring
• Ability to do repetitive tasks that require the use of various defined procedures
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently while maintaining a good working relationship with coworkers & supervisors

Physical & Mental Requirements

• Attention to detail, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to do moderate to heavy lifting to lift equipment, fixtures, and materials used in manufacturing
• Hearing and eye protection required
• Great hand dexterity
• Exposure to high magnetic field may interfere with pacemaker and/ or medical devices
• Ability to contribute to quality objectives
• Provide products and services that exceed customer expectations
• Obeys all work rules and Environmental, Health and Safety regulations as valid for the work tasks assigned
