Job summary

Jabil is seeking a skilled Toolmaker/Mold Repair professional to diagnose and repair mold components, set up precision tooling, and ensure parts meet exact tolerances. You will work with CNC, EDM, Wire EDM, Lathe, and grinders to program paths and perform mold cleaning and maintenance.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, applying root cause analysis, and collaborating with process engineers to drive improvements in tooling performance and part quality.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models and tooling.
• Experience with toolmaking/machining processes and tolerances.
• Proficient in operating precision manufacturing equipment and measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace worn/damaged mold components and tooling.
• Diagnose molds for defects and perform root cause analysis.
• Perform dimensional inspections to ensure conformance to drawings.
• Program machine paths and set up tooling in CNC/EDM equipment.
• Engage with process/ tooling engineers to implement improvements.
