Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and support manufacturing processes for customized cold plate designs used in high-powered computing and data center integration. Onsite in Claremont, NH, you will support production daily, improve assembly processes, and drive continuous improvement.

You will work with CAD/SolidWorks, GD&T, CNC, and CMM techniques while supporting NPI initiatives and RCCA investigations. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of related engineering experience.
• Experience with mechanical inspection tools and CNC processes.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles and drafting.
• Familiarity with machining and brazing for DFM.

Responsibilities

• Support shop-floor production and resolve manufacturing issues in real time.
• Design fixtures for CNC and brazing; ensure GD&T compliance.
• Develop and improve assembly processes; train operators with standard work.
• Support NPI launches with smooth production handoffs.
• Investigate quality issues; perform RCCA and implement permanent fixes.
• Coordinate line changes and equipment moves from setup to readiness.

We also make active liquid cooling systems that are utilized in semiconductor test equipment for providing fast thermal control to maintain a constant temperature under a varying heat load.This is an onsite role in Claremont, NH.Relocation assistance available.Competitive salary with bonus opportunities.What will you do?Be on the shop floor daily supporting production activities and solving manufacturing issues in real time.Fixture design for CNC, brazing. Familiarity and experience with GD&T principles. Experience with CMM inspection. Expertise with CNC processes.Design and improve assembly processes, create clear work instructions, and train operators using standardized work principles.Perform High-Level Assembly (HLA) and work confidently with assembly drawings and procedures.Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by helping launch new products smoothly into production.Investigate quality issues, perform Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA), and drive permanent fixes.Evaluate products and collect data to support process improvements and engineering decisions.Coordinate line changes and equipment moves, from setup to process readiness.Maintain engineer tools and fixtures, including preventative maintenance and records.Drive continuous improvement and cost-reduction ideasWork safely and responsibly, following all safety, health, and security policies.How will you get here?Education:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering subjectExperience:2-5 years of related engineering experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Expertise with mechanical inspection toolsFamiliarity with machining and brazing as well as processes for effective product Design for Manufacturing (DFM)Creation of shop-floor documentation and work instructionsDrafting experience, knowledge of GD&TFamiliarity with CMM programming (Zeiss Calypso preferred) and dimensional inspection methodsKnowledgeable in CNC processesCold plate design process experience a plusKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:Understanding and application of a broad range of industrial engineering tools (ie.
