Voda Cleaning & Restoration of Greater Houston - North seeks a Mold Remediation Worker to provide specialized mold remediation and related cleaning services following established protocols. Responsibilities include HVAC duct cleaning, carpet and upholstery care, and assisting in water restoration services.

Candidates should hold a MRW license, have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and basic computer skills to log daily activity and use company software.

Qualifications

• Registered Mold Remediation Worker (MRW) licensed by the TDLR, current and in good standing.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver license in good standing.
• Basic computer skills to report daily activity and use company software.
• Experience in HVAC duct cleaning, water restoration, carpet cleaning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold remediation and related cleaning services according to protocols.
• Assist in cleaning HVAC ducts, carpets, tile/grout, and other surfaces.
• Complete daily logs and work orders, report progress to supervisor.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle appearance; uphold company standards.
• Willing to learn new equipment and operate safely in various environments.

Mold Remediation Worker Job Summary

Provide professional and specialized service related to professional mold remediaiton following mold remediation protocols, industry standards and the Texas Administrative Code. Also provide professional services related to cleaning and mold treatment of HVAC ducts and systems, cleaning of carpets, tile/grout, other flooring systems, upholstery and as well as assist in water restoration services.

Cleaning And Restoration Technician Qualifications And Experience

• Registered Mold Remediation Worker (MRW) licenced by the TDLR. Current and in good standing
• Education and Experience: High school diploma (or GED).
• Driver License in good standing
• Computer Skills: Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity. Capable of quickly learning to use company software systems.
• Technical Skills
• Experienced in professional mold remediation
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate cleaning and restoration equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, company procedures, and industry standards.
• Knowledge of HVAC duct cleaning with negative air, water damage restoration, carpet cleaning, and related services is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Technician Responsibilities

• Effectively perform services the company offers (Opportunities exist to earn Carpet Cleaning, Water Restoration, Mold Remediation; Fire & Water Damage Restoration certifications and experience quickly).
• Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation and authorizations.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with customers.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect completed work.
• Complete the technician’s daily log.
• Complete Work Orders.
• Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
• Maintain inventory of related supplies.
• Willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.
• Willing to hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards.
• Willing to work the occasional night/weekend shift

• IICRC Certifications: CCT, SMT, WRT, ASD, AMRT, OCT, FSRT
