Responsibilities

• Perform mold inspections, containment setup, and remediation following industry standards.
• Remove affected materials and clean/sanitize exposed surfaces.
• Operate air scrubbers, negative air machines, and dehumidifiers.
• Maintain documentation including photos, logs, and remediation notes.
• Follow PPE usage, HEPA vacuuming, and controlled demolition guidelines.
• Communicate with clients professionally on-site.
• Collaborate with team and report progress to supervisors.

Description

PuroClean of Marysville is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Mold Remediation Technician to join our restoration team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in mold remediation procedures and safety protocols, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively under pressure. IICRC certification in Applied Microbial Remediation (AMRT) or equivalent is preferred, but not required to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold inspections, containment setup, and remediation following industry standards
• Remove affected building materials and clean/sanitize exposed surfaces
• Operate and monitor equipment such as air scrubbers, negative air machines, and dehumidifiers
• Maintain proper documentation including photos, logs, and remediation notes
• Follow safety guidelines including PPE usage, HEPA vacuuming, and controlled demolition practices
• Communicate with clients professionally and respectfully on-site
• Collaborate with team members and report progress to project leads or supervisors

Requirements

• 1+ year of hands-on experience in mold remediation or related restoration work
• Strong understanding of containment setup, moisture control, and proper disposal procedures
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined, high‑humidity, or dusty environments
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Willingness to undergo background check and drug screening
• Must provide black protective toe work boots and black or dark-colored work pants
• Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and safety awareness

Preferred Qualifications

• IICRC AMRT certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Additional certifications such as WRT or OSHA 10/30
• Familiarity with moisture meters, hygrometers, and restoration software (e.g., DASH)
