ServiceMaster Clean of Fraser Valley is seeking General Laborers for a growth-focused role in Indiana. No prior mold remediation experience is required, as comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided to advance through a defined career path.

Starting as General Laborer, you will assist with demolition, material handling, and site setup. As you gain expertise, you may progress to Mold Technician, Team Lead, Supervisor, and project planning roles.

Qualifications

• No mold remediation experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Construction, demolition, roofing, remodeling, or general labor background valued for higher starting wage.
• Strong work ethic, physical endurance, and reliability.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and adapt to changing temperatures.
• Willingness to follow safety directions and wear protective gear daily.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to sites.

Responsabilités

• Performing heavy manual labor, including demolition and removal of mold-affected materials.

1. General Laborer (Starting role: focus on fundamentals, demolition, and material handling)
2. Mold Technician (Specialized remediation, equipment setup, and containment)
3. Team Lead (Site management, quality control, and training newer team members)
4. Supervisor (Overseeing multiple projects, client assessments, and job planning)

Starting Responsibilities (General Labor)

As a General Laborer, you will support our mold remediation projects from the ground up. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Performing heavy manual labor, including the demolition and removal of mold-affected building materials.
• Carrying heavy materials, tools, specialized equipment, and debris to and from the work vehicle and jobsite.
• Setting up critical containment zones using plastic sheeting and negative air pressure machines to ensure safety.
• Utilizing proper tools, equipment, and eco-friendly materials to treat and remediate mold.
• Maintaining a pristine, safe, and organized jobsite at all times.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Our team solves environmental problems directly inside residential and commercial properties. Applicants must be completely comfortable working under the following conditions:

• Confined Spaces: Regularly working in tight, restricted areas such as residential attics, crawlspaces, basements, and wall cavities.
• Temperature Extremes: Working in spaces subject to extreme conditions, including intense summer heat or winter cold (especially inside unconditioned attics).
• Physical Stamina: Handling a rigorous physical workload involving heavy lifting, repetitive bending, kneeling, stretching, and intensive manual labor throughout the day.
• Safety & PPE: Strict compliance with health and safety protocols is mandatory. You will be required to properly utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including full or half-face respirators, protective Tyvek suits, gloves, and eye protection.

Qualifications

• No prior mold remediation experience required—we provide complete on-the-job training for the right candidates!
• Prior experience in construction, demolition, roofing, remodeling, restoration, or general labor is highly valued and will be considered for a higher starting wage.
• Strong work ethic, physical endurance, and absolute reliability.
• Ability to work comfortably in confined spaces and adapt to changing weather temperatures.
• Willingness to follow strict safety directions and wear required protective gear daily.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to various jobsites.
• Able to pass a background screening with no instances of domestic abuse, theft, or other felonies.
