Job summary

Syndicate Sales, Inc. is seeking a Mold Process Technician to support injection and compression processing, improve overall equipment effectiveness, and lead root cause analysis.

You will verify processes, perform tool and error-proofing checks, and respond to alarms across molding equipment and robots. You will start up machines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal performance while maintaining safety standards and contributing ideas for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in plastics processing.
• Experience in mold set-ups and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with state-of-the-art controls on machines and robots.
• Ability to interpret procedure manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for machine start-ups.
• First response to machine, robot, thermolater and secondary equipment alarms.
• Ensure machines and robots run at optimum efficiency.
• Troubleshoot machine, mold, and material problems.
• Escalate any difficulties or problems requiring special attention.
• Responsible for accurate completion of process verification, tool reports and error proofing checks as required.
• Maintain appearance of thermolaters, robot control stations, etc.
• Seek continuous improvement through ideas and suggestions.
• Proficient computer literacy and MS Office skills.
• Adhere to general machine safety, electrical safety and machine guarding with high safety awareness (OSHA, NEC and RIA).
• Travel between locations as needed.
