Job Description

Position: Mold Press Operator – 2nd Shift

The Mold Press Operator is responsible for producing brake shoes to meet production and quality standards. This role involves documenting output, supporting preventive maintenance, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Compensation

Salary: $24.00/hour + $1.50 shift differential

Requirements

Physical Demands

• Ability to tolerate elevated temperatures, dust, and drafts.
• Stand throughout the shift with continuous movement.
• Lift up to 30 lbs from the waist.
• Perform strenuous hammering while standing.
• Push, pull, and grasp with both hands.
• Identify quality and safety issues related to products or equipment.

Education and Experience

• Score 100% on the Briquette System Operator Review (waived if hired before 9/1/1980).
• Score 100% on the Mold Press Operator Review.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and any shift as needed.
