Luttrell Staffing Group in Bristol, VA is seeking a Manufacturing Mold Preparation Technician to perform mold preparation duties in a full-time role. The position offers a 5am-3:30pm schedule, Monday through Thursday, with weekly pay.

The role requires adherence to safety guidelines, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and experience with air-powered tools. Temp-to-hire opportunity with insurance options available.

Competenze

• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must follow safety requirements and wear PPE (glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe shoes, gloves).
• Capable of using air-powered hand tools safely.

Mansioni

• Prepare molds by sifting and packing sand and applying coatings.
• Measure and load materials; monitor furnace operations; skim and assist pouring.
• Remove castings and perform basic finishing as needed.
• Safely operate grinders, sifters, and hand tools.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervision or management.
• Follow all policies and safety procedures in place.

Job Duties for Manufacturing Mold Preparation Technician

• Prepare molds by sifting and packing sand and applying coatings
• Measure and load materials, monitor furnace operations, skim, and assist with pouring
• Remove castings and perform basic finishing as needed
• Safely operate grinders, sifters, and hand tools
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervision or management
• Other items as instructed

• Completes any other related tasks as needed

Job requirements for Manufacturing Mold Preparation Technician
