Job summary

Latham Pool Products, Inc. in Seminole, OK seeks a Mold Maintenance Supervisor to lead the fiberglass mold shop, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will coach the team, coordinate with production planning, and drive root-cause analysis of defects while maintaining maintenance standards.

You will oversee SOP adherence, materials, and tools for mold upkeep, train staff, and report progress to leadership, aligning with ERP processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the field of Composites Manufacturing or equivalent preferred.
• Four to ten years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Composite certificates or licenses are preferred but not required if experienced in composites/fiberglass manufacturing.
• Must be willing to work greater than 40 hours per week when necessary and open to a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Follow company safety policies and promote a safety-first culture throughout the facility.
• Maintain mold uptime to ensure on-time delivery while minimizing overtime.
• Lead and direct the team responsible for mold quality in the Latham Fiberglass plant.
• Coordinate with the production scheduler to ensure molds are available when needed and downtime is accounted for.
• Relay feedback from demolding and detailing teams on mold quality to the mold shop.
• Ensure a high level of quality by performing regular inspections of pools and identifying defects caused by molds.
• Coordinate supplies and tools required for mold maintenance with purchasing.
• Understand and train teams on Latham SOPs related to mold maintenance.
• Root cause mold defects and measurements when requested by the leadership team.
• Report weekly mold maintenance progress to the Fiberglass leadership team.
• Track preventative maintenance schedules of equipment in shop and ensure service in accordance with standards.
• Communicate job expectations, coach, counsel, and discipline employees.
• Lead employee development in the mold shop and identify/train future mold shop talent with the Production Manager.
• Lead continuous improvement discussions with the mold maintenance team.
• Evaluate new materials and methods in coordination with Fiberglass Engineering and Process leaders.
• Maintain related IFS system updates for the mold maintenance department.

  • Shipment ID created in a timely manner.
  • Work with AR to resolve orders in blocked status.
  • Confirm delivery date to dealer base.
  • Upload documents into the system for compliance regulations.
  • Execute material requisitions as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
