Job summary

Cretex Medical Component and Device Technologies is seeking a Mold Maker I to perform basic mold repairs, assemble simple tool builds, and support component manufacturing with minimal supervision. The role requires reading engineering blueprints, operating CNC equipment, and maintaining quality through standard procedures.

Applicants should bring 4+ years of bench experience in tooling, basic quality understanding, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience repairing molds.
• 5-7+ years of hands-on bench experience in a tooling environment preferred.
• Basic understanding of quality procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

• Investigate/Identify basic mold issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Identify and participate in improving tool development and performance.
• Perform basic setup and operation of CNC equipment.
• Read and follow work instructions, setup sheets, and checklists.
• Record time and repair details into the maintenance ticket system.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles.
