Job summary

Hi-Tech Mold & Engineering, Inc. is seeking energetic and self-motivated candidates to apprentice as Mold Makers. The trainee will receive on-the-job training under an experienced mold maker and learn injection tools, mold components, reading CAD designs, and mold maintenance.

Day and night shifts available with a shift premium for night; flexible schedules and overtime. Full-time benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, life and disability insurance, HSA/FSA, paid vacation and holidays,

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills and experience with hand power tools, precision tools and measuring tools.
• Good math skills and basic computer skills required.
• Ability to perform hands-on physical work (lifting up to 25 lbs, standing, bending and climbing).
• Ability to work independently and follow training from experienced mold maker.

Responsibilities

• Learn basics of injection tools and components of injection molds.
• Learn to read CAD designs and perform mold maintenance and cleaning.
• Support other departments as needed and follow manager's tasks.
