Job summary

MGS Richfield Manufacturing in Richfield, WI is seeking a Mold Maintenance Technician to perform minor repair, assembly/disassembly and preventive maintenance of injection molds at the facility. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and repair of plastic molds and hot systems, plus hands‑on use of mills, surface grinders and lathes.

Qualifications: high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, familiarity with hand tools, and knowledge of mold building/injection

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanically inclined with ability to read and follow step‑by‑step instructions.
• Familiar with hand tools and toolroom equipment.
• Mold repair/maintenance experience preferred.
• Understanding of mold building and injection molding process preferred.
• Lock out/Tag out and forklift experience preferred.

• Repair or request replacement parts, tooling, or hardware as needed to maintain replacement inventory.
• Set‑up and operate all hand‑tool equipment along with manual toolroom machines.
• Coordinate with our internal MGS Engineering department for specific operations or needs.
• Understand and use toolroom inspection equipment as required.
• Any other duties as assigned.
