Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, mechanical, automotive, or related fields preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools and basic shop equipment safely.
• Attention to detail and precision with components.
• High School Diploma or GED; trade school a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on molds, dies, and tooling.
• Disassemble, inspect, clean, and reassemble tooling components.
• Repair minor wear, chips, and surface imperfections to restore tool performance.
• Buff, polish, and finish tooling to maintain quality standards.
• Inspect components for damage and document maintenance activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support senior toolmakers with complex repairs while developing your technical skills.
