Job summary

Callaway Golf Company is seeking a Mold Technician for 2nd shift to assemble and disassemble golf ball compression molds, clean, inspect, and repair molds as necessary. This role will operate on a 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM shift on the production floor.

The position requires reading and following procedures, strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently or in a team, and adherence to safety standards. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years related experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Must be organized and thorough, following procedures for quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Work in a safe manner following all PPE and standardized processes.
• Remove molds from compression molding cells and transport to maintenance area and return once completed.
• Media blast, bake, and coat semi-permanent mold release.
• Transport mold parts and position them for assembly.
• Seek process efficiency improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

JOB OVERVIEW

This role is responsible for the assembly and disassembly of golf ball compression molds. This role will clean, inspect, and repair molds as necessary. This is a 2nd Shift position (2:30 PM - 10:30 PM).

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work in a safe manner following all PPE and standardized processes
• Remove molds from compression molding cells and transport to maintenance area and return once completed
• Required to media blast, bake, and coat semi-permanent mold release
• Transport mold parts, positions them for assembly
• Works towards improvements for process efficiencies
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

• Must be able to read, write and understand English
• Must be very organized and thorough, following all procedures for quality and safety.
• Must be able to work independently as well as being part of the team.
• Must be able to manage time well to meet deadlines.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training in field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in a manufacturing environment
