Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational training program in machining or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mold machining or a closely related field.
  • Proven experience operating CNC machines and manual machining equipment.
  • Demonstrated experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD designs.
  • Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting machining equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate various machining tools, including lathes, mills, and grinders, to fabricate mold components.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations required.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machining equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
  • Inspect finished mold components for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as necessary to meet standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve machining issues and improve processes.

Job Purpose:The Mold Machining Machinist at ARC INTERNATIONAL GROUP is responsible for operating and maintaining machining equipment to produce precision molds used in manufacturing processes.
