Job Title: Mold Machine Operator - 3rd Shift

Join Atlas Roofing Corporation as a Mold Machine Operator - 3rd Shift at our Byron Center, MI plant. This is a full-time, entry-level position within the manufacturing industry.

Primary Responsibilities

• Understand manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operation, safety requirements, and departmental procedures.
• Operate equipment such as the Pre-Expander, Mold, Lamination Line, Block – Auto Line, among others.
• Verify equipment setup before production, operate, and shut down manufacturing equipment.
• Ensure produced parts meet quality standards for material, density, weight, size, and shape.
• Train new employees as needed.
• Bundle, wrap, stack, pack, assemble, and label materials according to production instructions.
• Obtain supervisor verification to sign off on procedures within 2 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Basic math skills and ability to use hand-held measuring tools.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
