Job summary

Adecco in Keene, NH is hiring a Machine Operator for a full-time, direct-hire role. Shifts run Monday through Friday, 6:00AM – 2:30PM, with some overtime as needed. You will operate and monitor machinery across assigned areas, load materials, and ensure quality while maintaining documentation.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, basic math, data entry ability, and strong teamwork. Prior wire and cable experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Wire and cable industry experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience using precision gauges and micrometers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Basic math skills and ability to read and follow instructions.
• Comfortable using computers for simple data entry.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders and production documentation.
• Set up, operate, and monitor machinery in assigned areas.
• Load and replace materials and splice product to maintain continuous production.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and reassembly of machines.
• Assist with basic repairs and coordinate maintenance when needed.
• Operate forklifts or powered equipment safely (including propane cylinder changes).
• Record production activity and maintain accurate documentation.
• Direct helpers and work collaboratively with team members.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $24.00/HR (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Review work orders and production documentation.
• Set up, operate, and monitor machinery in assigned areas (Tower, pay-off, take-up, etc.).
• Load and replace materials, splice product to maintain continuous production.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and reassembly of machines.
• Assist with basic repairs and coordinate additional maintenance when needed.

Pay Details

$20.00 to $22.00 per hour
