Job summary

Dal-Tile Corp. is hiring for a manufacturing operator to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment and to support lean manufacturing practices on both day and night shifts.

The role involves loading, weighing, mixing ingredients, and performing quality checks while maintaining accurate records and following the QMS guidelines. Dal-Tile offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manufacturing equipment.
• Follows Quality Management System (QMS) guidelines.
• Willing to cross department lines and help the team.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safe and efficient operation of all assigned equipment.
• Follows the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Stocks lines/machines with needed materials.
• Transports, weighs, and mixes appropriate ingredients.
• Load/unload machines.
• Performs periodic checks on output.
• Creates samples and performs quality control checks.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor including safety, quality, productivity, and systems-related issues.
• Maintains accurate documentation/records relative to safety, quality, and productivity for assigned area.
• Follows standard operating procedures and lean principles (5S, standard work).
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Supports a life-long learning environment and helps develop team members.

SHIFT HOURS:

Days - 6:45AM-7PM (2-2-3 Schedule).

Nights - 6:45PM-7AM (2-2-3 Schedule).

Job Functions:
