Job summary

A leading aerospace manufacturer in Texas is seeking a motivated Tool and Die Specialist for 2nd shift. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing molds for plastic injection and die casting. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of hands-on experience with injection molds, along with knowledge of troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic systems. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and effective communication as the specialist will work with cross-functional teams to enhance production efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on technician experience with tool maintenance and/or repair with plastic injection molds.
• Experience with basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting.
• 3+ years of professional experience with CNC machining of tool/die components.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and modify molds for plastic injection and die casting.
• Support production and maintenance with troubleshooting.
• Identify and implement systems to reduce manufacturing defects.
