Job summary

Pretium Packaging, L.L.C. is seeking an injection molding operator to support production lines. You will set up and change over molds, prep tooling and materials, and work with supervision to resolve process issues while maintaining quality and safety.

The role involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adherence to production schedules, ensuring molds run smoothly and products meet specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and troubleshooting injection molding processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Execute mold setups and changeovers to meet the production schedule with minimal downtime.
• Prep tooling and materials in advance; coordinate with supervisor to resolve process issues quickly.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tooling, including cleaning, greasing molds, and inspecting equipment.
• Diagnose mold performance concerns and assist with repairs as needed.
• Operate production lines to maintain stable output and adherence to specifications.
• Conduct container quality checks and log adjustments or abnormalities on machines.
• Follow plant-specific job specifications and task lists.

Impact you’ll make

• Execute mold setups and changeovers to meet the production schedule without unnecessary downtime.

• Perform preventative maintenance on tools in production, including cleaning and greasing molds; clean, inspect, and lubricate equipment and machinery.
• Answer troubleshooting calls, diagnose mold performance concerns, and complete or assist with repairs.
• Operate lines as needed, ensuring stable output and adherence to spec.
• Conduct container quality checks and log all adjustments or abnormalities on assigned machines.
• Adhere to plant-specific job specifications and task lists.
