Job summary

Menasha Corporation is hiring a Mold Change Lead for ORBIS. You will guide a small team in safe, efficient mold changes, set up molding machines, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure high-quality production.

You will lead by example, drive CI/5S initiatives, and maintain a clean, safe work area while upholding strict safety standards and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• 2-5 years of plastic injection molding experience.
• Previous overhead crane experience.
• Proven ability to lead by example in a hands-on environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership to the Mold Change team, with a focus on safety and quality.
• Perform mold and version changes according to the production schedule.
• Set up molding machines and ancillary equipment for production.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on molds, including lubrication and minor repairs.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and repair machine components.
• Ensure all work is completed safely using required PPE and in compliance with standard work.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, including CI and 5S efforts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
