Job summary

Eurofins Built Environment Testing in Portland, OR is seeking a Mold/Asbestos Analyst. This full-time role requires asbestos microscopy and related analytical duties with occasional travel for training. You will prepare and analyze samples, report data in the LIMS, and support QA tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The position offers comprehensive benefits and a compensation range of USD 22.00–29.00 per hour, depending on experience. Monday–Friday day shift with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience performing asbestos microscopy and/or spore trap analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biology, geology or closely related science.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze aerobiological and environmental samples for asbestos and fungi.
• Enter and report analytical data using the LIMS.
• Perform independent data reviews for other analysts’ work.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and assist in QA processes.
