Job summary

Display Pack is hiring a on-site Mold and Die Maker in Cedar Springs, Michigan. You will construct thermoforming tooling, perform repairs, and ensure tooling meets CAD specifications while adhering to safety and GMP guidelines.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years tool & die experience or a technical school certificate, with strong mechanical skills and shop math aptitude. GTAW welding experience is a plus.

• What You’ll Get To Do:

Reporting to our Die Shop Manager, this is an on-site, full time, non-exempt position. The organized, self-motivated, individual in this position is responsible for constructing thermoforming tool sets and performing repairs on tooling.

In this role you’ll get to:

• Build tooling to CAD specificationsSet up and operate machine tools (lathe, milling machine, radial drill, and grinder). Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, and dial indicators.
• Repair damaged or worn tooling
• Troubleshoot tooling during production
• Follow safety guidelines and company GMPs
