Job summary

Stratolaunch is offering a summer internship in Mojave, CA for Electrical Engineering students. The 10–12 week program runs over the summer with a 9/80 schedule and onsite work at Mojave.

Base compensation ranges by year: Year 1–2 at $33.00/hr and Year 3–4 at $38.00/hr, with location and educational background shaping offers. You'll assist with electrical manufacturing support, troubleshoot, update wiring diagrams, collect data, and participate in process-improvement projects under supervision.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an engineering degree (Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering or related).
• Basic understanding of electrical circuits, wiring, schematics, and electrical test equipment.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Excel and Office tools.
• Able to communicate effectively and work with production and engineering teams.
• Comfortable in office and manufacturing-floor environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day support for electrical manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical, wiring, test, and production-equipment issues under engineer supervision.
• Support updates to work instructions, wiring diagrams, test procedures, and manufacturing documentation.
• Collect and analyze production, quality, scrap, rework, downtime, and test data.
• Assist with root-cause investigations and corrective actions for production or quality issues.
• Participate in process-improvement projects involving safety, quality, throughput, and cost.
• Support process trials, equipment validations, and new-product introduction activities.
• Maintain organized engineering files, reports, bills of materials, and project documentation.
