The role supports electrical manufacturing, data collection, and continuous-improvement projects, collaborating with engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and streamline operations.

The internship emphasizes practical electrical manufacturing methods, documentation, and hands-on experience in a dynamic aerospace setting.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of electrical circuits, wiring, schematics, and electrical test equipment.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
• Able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with production and engineering teams.
• Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing-floor environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day support for electrical manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Help troubleshoot basic electrical, wiring, test, and production-equipment issues under engineer supervision.
• Support updates to work instructions, wiring diagrams, test procedures, and manufacturing documentation.
• Collect and analyze production, quality, scrap, rework, downtime, and test data.
• Assist with root-cause investigations and corrective actions for production or quality issues.
• Participate in process-improvement projects involving safety, quality, throughput, and cost.
• Support process trials, equipment validations, and new-product introduction activities.
• Maintain organized engineering files, reports, bills of materials, and project documentation.
