Under the direct supervision of the Mohs Surgeon, will carry dual responsibilities of assisting in the Mohs histotechnology laboratory and the Mohs surgeries/ clinical patient care duties.
Under the direction of the Mohs surgeon assists in preparing tissue specimens and histopathologic slides for routine and special procedures that aid in the confirmation of patient diagnosis utilizing frozen section techniques. Process, embed, cut and stain surgical, biopsy and anatomical tissues for light microscopic slide review. Assists in the orientation, thin sectioning and staining of skin removed during Mohs micrographic surgery procedures on a "stat" basis.

The hourly range for this role is $23.70 to $46.35 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
