Job summary

McLean Dermatology & Skincare Center is seeking a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon with an entrepreneurial spirit to build a complementary cosmetic dermatology following. The role emphasizes surgical excellence, aesthetic outcomes, and a collaborative, physician-owned culture.

You’ll help shape the launch of an in-house Mohs service, with an on-site lab, a dedicated surgical team, and a broad referral network across our Potomac and McLean locations.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited program.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited dermatology residency.
• Fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery through an ACGME-accredited Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology fellowship and/or an ACMS-approved fellowship.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in dermatology.
• Maryland medical license or eligibility for licensure.
• Excellent surgical skills and a thoughtful approach to reconstruction.
• A strong interest in cosmetic dermatology and the motivation to build a cosmetic following.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities

• Launch and grow the in-house Mohs service, including clinical workflow and reconstruction.
• Provide surgical expertise with a focus on meticulous reconstruction and aesthetic outcomes.
• Develop and expand cosmetic dermatology offerings and build a loyal cosmetic patient base.
• Collaborate with the surgical team, Mohs lab, and referring providers to support service growth.
