McLean Dermatology & Skincare Center invites an experienced Mohs surgeon to join our Potomac office and help build a new Mohs service from the ground up. You will lead surgical care with an on-site lab support, working in a collaborative, physician-owned environment renowned for exceptional care.

This opportunity offers part-time hours with the potential to transition to full-time, flexibility to shape the service, and a supportive team behind you, including Dr.

Formación

• This role requires an MD/DO with dermatology residency training and Mohs fellowship.
• Board certification or eligibility in dermatology is required.
• Maryland medical licensure or eligibility is necessary.

Responsabilidades

• Build and launch the Mohs service within the practice, including workflow design and patient experience.
• Collaborate with on-site lab and dedicated surgical team to ensure efficient surgeries.
• Provide high-quality skin cancer surgery with autonomy and clinical excellence.
• Grow the Mohs program across multi-location referral patients and future expansions.

Potomac Dermatology & Skincare Center is part of McLean Dermatology & Skincare Center, a physician-owned dermatology group that has served the Washington, DC area for more than 15 years. With a reputation for exceptional care, we specialize in adult and pediatric dermatology, skin cancer surgery, and cosmetic dermatology. Founded by Dr. Lily Talakoub, our practice was built on the belief that exceptional dermatology is equal parts science and artistry. We’ve built a team of expert providers who genuinely enjoy working together, and we’re looking for a Mohs surgeon to join us in our Potomac office.

This role is ideal for a Mohs surgeon who is confident in their surgical skills and excited by the chance to build something of their own. As we launch our in-house Mohs service, you’ll have the opportunity to shape it as you see fit, from workflow to patient experience, supported by an on-site lab and a dedicated team. Requirements

• MD/DO from an accredited program


• Completion of an ACGME-accredited dermatology residency


• Fellowship-trained in Mohs micrographic surgery (ACGME-accredited Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology fellowship and/or ACMS)


• Board-certified/board-eligible in dermatology


• Medical license in Maryland/eligibility for licensure


• Motivated to help build and grow a Mohs practice
