U.S. Dermatology Partners seeks a detail-oriented Mohs/Pathology Lab Technician to support Mohs lab duties and pathology workflows in our Peoria facility. You will prepare templates, assign case numbers, and process slides under supervision.

This role requires accuracy, basic computer skills, and adherence to safety policies, with responsibilities across Mohs and pathology lab tasks and collaboration with the team.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and professional
• Strong grammar and spelling to avoid mistakes
• Basic to intermediate computer skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of safety policies and HIPAA guidelines

Responsibilities

• Prepare Mohs / Excision templates for patient charts
• Assign Mohs/DAF numbers for sites processed in Mohs Lab
• Prepare maps for first stage tissue
• Load slides on stainer
• Coverslip slides
• Assist with stage slides during heavy workflow
• Log stage / slide counts in Mohs log book
• Maintain stain control documentation
• Adhere to safety policies and customer service standards
• Perform other duties as needed in the lab and pathology workflows
