Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a detail-oriented modeling and detailing specialist to develop and maintain detailed models of prefab assemblies for fabrication and installation. You will work with project teams and fabrication partners to ensure models meet contract documents, quality standards, and production needs.

You'll apply established detailing standards, support shop drawing development, and contribute to continuous learning in prefab methods and safety-focused design practices.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering technology or related field required.
• 2+ years of experience in modeling, detailing, or prefabrication-related work.
• Experience with shop drawing development and production planning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops and updates models of prefab assemblies (wall panels, bathroom pods, racks, modular elements).
• Applies fabrication-oriented detailing standards to ensure accuracy and production readiness.
• Coordinate with designers, engineers and fabrication partners to resolve model discrepancies and clarify assembly requirements, applying safety-in-design principles.
• Produce model-based views, details, and documentation to support shop drawings and fabrication workflows.
• Incorporate design changes and production feedback into models.
• Identify opportunities to standardize components to improve fabrication efficiency and pursue continuous learning.
