This role supports project completion by ensuring modular units are installed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on construction experience who enjoys travel, problem-solving, and working as part of a collaborative team in a dynamic field environment.**What You’ll Do*** Assist with modular installation, assembly, and repair activities at construction sites, ensuring projects are completed according to specifications and deadlines* Operate and maintain tools and equipment to support safe and efficient job site operations* Identify and troubleshoot basic installation issues, resolving problems quickly to minimize delays and maintain quality standards* Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and ensure successful project execution* Follow blueprints, detailed instructions, and safety protocols to ensure accurate and compliant installations* Communicate project progress, material needs, and potential issues to supervisors* Lead and promote healthy and safe work practices in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policy* Maintain regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance* Perform additional duties as assigned**Who You Are*** High school diploma or equivalent* Minimum of 2 years of hands-on construction experience* Eligible to work in the United States* Strong carpentry skills and familiarity with power tools* Knowledge of modular construction and blueprint reading* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities* Ability to work effectively as part of a team* Excellent understanding of construction safety practices and a commitment to workplace safety**Work Environment*** Work is performed primarily at construction sites across the United States* Exposure to construction equipment, machinery, noise, dust, and varying weather conditions* Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, and high-visibility vests, must be worn as required* Frequent use of power tools and hand tools* Travel required up to **85% of the time****Physical Abilities*** Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds* Ability to push or pull loads up to 50 pounds* Strong balance, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity* Ability to meet visual and auditory acuity requirements* Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday* Physical stamina required to perform demanding construction-related tasks**What You’ll Get****Z Modular** at **Zekelman Industries** offers competitive compensation and excellent benefits, including low-cost, high-quality medical and dental coverage.
