Job summary

cdcb in South Texas is seeking a DreamBuild Technician to support day-to-day module construction in the DreamBuild Factory. The role is non-exempt and focuses on hands-on building across framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and finishes.

You will work with other staff, report to the MiCasita Manager on needs and stock, maintain clean work areas, track time efficiency, and assist with material orders. This position offers the chance to contribute to affordable housing projects with competitive

Qualifications

• General construction experience including painting, framing, and foundation.
• Maintain clean working environment and safety compliance.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Operate power construction equipment.
• Ability to fabricate and assemble wooden structures.
• Ability to manage time and production tracking.

Responsibilities

• Build and finish modules at the DreamBuild Factory.
• Coordinate with staff on framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, and flooring.
• Report needs to MiCasita Manager and track materials inventory.
• Maintain site cleanliness and housekeeping.
• Assist in material ordering and on-site problem solving.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
