Job summary

The Talent Mine is hiring a Designer/Detailer (Mechanical/Structural) for a full-time, in-office role in Austin, Texas. You will detail modular data center units—covering structures, skids, and piping—down to weld and bolt level, ensuring fabrication-ready packages.

Ideal candidates will have experience detailing for fabrication, strong standards, and proficiency in Tekla Structures, Advance Steel, Revit, or Plant 3D.

Qualifications

• Experience detailing for fabrication: structural steel, skids, piping in a fab shop or modular environment.
• Packages include weld symbols, bolt callouts, and dimensions a fitter needs.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed mechanical/structural models and drawings for fabrication.
• Detail steel and mechanical systems to fabrication level with clear revision tracking.
• Turn engineering changes into updated drawing packages quickly with proper library hygiene.
• Own templates and libraries to speed up future detailing tasks.
