Job summary

Miller Industries, LLC is seeking a 1st Shift Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team in Fenton, Michigan. Hours are 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Monday–Friday with overtime as needed. Lead the assembly of modular mechanical equipment rooms, drive safety, quality, and efficiency, and mentor team members on the floor. You will read blueprints and schematics, oversee documentation, and enforce OSHA standards while coordinating continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in building, residential, or modular construction.
• Ability to read architectural/construction drawings and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of modular-electrical systems, construction methods, or HVAC/mechanical systems preferred.
• On-site, full-time 1st shift work.
• Technical or trade school certification preferred.

• Lead a workforce in the assembly and construction of modular mechanical equipment rooms.
• Meet daily production goals while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Coach team members and provide hands-on guidance.
• Maintain documentation of production activities and performance.

Who We Want

We are currently seeking a highly motivated 1st Shift Supervisor to become an integral part of our team in Fenton, Michigan. 1st Shift hours are 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday with some overtime as needed for production.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead a workforce in the assembly and construction of modular mechanical equipment rooms.

• Maintain accurate documentation of production activities and employee performance.

• Participate in planning meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.

What Requirements Are Needed

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in building, residential, or modular construction.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/construction drawings, blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Strong understanding of modular-electrical systems, construction methods, or HVAC/mechanical systems preferred.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
• Ability to work on-site full time on 1st shift (Monday–Friday).
