Job summary

Mobile Modular Management Corporation - A Division of McGrath is seeking a production scheduler in Fredericksburg, VA to plan, issue, and control modular building production schedules. You will work closely with production staff and the Inventory Center to ensure timely delivery and flag potential problems that could impact delivery dates.

The role requires 3+ years in production or construction-related settings, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to read construction documents.

Qualifications

3+ years production related experience.
Experience in construction or related industry performing similar duties.
Ability to communicate with internal customers regarding work status and requirements.
Computer literate with good MS Office skills and ability to learn other programs.
Able to read construction documents and guide construction team to complete work.
Ability to prioritize actions and make decisions in a fast paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, including negotiation with internal customers.
Prior experience in asset management.
Excellent abilities to prioritize and adjust schedules.

Responsibilities

Schedule modular building equipment and construction to meet customer demand.
Ensure that work orders reflect labor and BOM for production prior to scheduling.
Coordinate inter-departmental activities to meet delivery dates.
Troubleshoot and modify production schedules due to issues or hot orders.
Select and allocate equipment using established criteria.
Collaborate with operations on delivery and setup to meet customer requirements.
Coordinate with purchasing to ensure materials are ordered for upcoming projects.
Perform administrative/support tasks for the production department.
Maintain relationships with other departments to support a cohesive team.
Perform material and labor take-offs and understand reverse scheduling.
Maintain system perimeters in area of responsibility.
Perform other duties as assigned.
